KISS’s farewell to Europe

In the middle of their farewell tour with their End Of The Road Tour, KISS took their public bow in Europe at the start of the summer. We were present in Lyon and London for this exceptional moment.

As a music and rock fan, it's hard to ignore the huge impact KISS have had. They revolutionised the meaning of entertainment and turned the field of possibilities on its head, building spectacular and dazzling shows. Matt's Guitar Shop has been working with the band for several years now, and it was inevitable that we should attend the band's last European concerts - without leaving empty-handed!

Already present at the Accor Arena in 2022 for their last date in the capital, we attended the last French concert in the band's history in Lyon. It was an emotional moment, during which we were able to chat with our friends Paul Stanley and Eric Singer before the concert. It was also an opportunity to pick up an exceptional guitar in the history of KISS: the legendary rhinestone-studded Iceman Rhinestone, played intensely on stage for several years by Paul!

We also had the immense pleasure of travelling to London for their last date in the English capital. It was an exceptional evening, where we were able to bump into Jimmy Page in the backstage area, and during which we brought back another historic guitar: a glittery Washburn Starfire played by Paul Stanley around the world and in Kiss Vegas in 2014!

We also brought back several signed vinyl records and picks from the very last European concerts in KISS history, which you can discover at Matt's Guitar Shop!
