Rory Gallagher's 1966 white Fender Telecaster

Contact us

A legendary instrument that belonged to Rory Gallagher, this white Telecaster was used in 1970 for the recording of On The Boards with Taste, and on stage, notably at the Isle of Wight Festival. An iconic guitar for his slide playing, it underwent several unique configurations according to Rory's needs: pickup changes, wiring modifications, removal of the neck pickup cover, temporary addition of Bill Lawrence pickups... It was one of his favorite guitars alongside his trusty 1961 Stratocaster.

Restored to its original configuration around 1987, this Telecaster embodies the essence of Gallagher's sound in the 1970s. An exceptional opportunity to acquire a historic piece of British rock, straight from his collection.
