1980 Gibson Les Paul Standard Ex Johnny Buckland / Coldplay
8500 €
Matt’s Guitar Shop presents this 1980 Gibson Les Paul Standard, previously owned and played by Coldplay guitarist Jonny Buckland.
This guitar combines the appeal of a vintage Gibson with provenance connecting it directly to one of Britain’s most influential contemporary bands. Its red finish reveals the grain of the top, framed by cream binding. Two uncovered humbuckers, trapezoid fingerboard inlays and a Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece complete its appearance.
An appealing piece for vintage Les Paul enthusiasts and collectors of artist-owned instruments, personally owned and played by a guitarist whose melodies and textures are central to Coldplay’s musical identity.
